I have graduate-level and professional training in fundraising and development and nonprofit management. The combined awards of my grant proposals are approximately $2.5million.

$18,500 and $20,000: Funder – Indiana University, High Performance Network Applications Program. Role: Principal investigator. 1999 and 2000.

€17,500: Funder – Tatanka Oyate e.V., Germany. Role: Lead grant writer. 2009.

$25,000: Funder – Dakota Indian Foundation. Role: Lead grant writer. 2010.

$2.4 million: Funder – U.S. Department of Education, Indian Education Professional Development Grants, (combined awards of two proposals). Role: Lead grant writer. 2010.

Educating for Sustainability

My parents have almost 100 years combined experience as educators and they passed on their passion to work with young people to me!

I am a long-time volunteer with local schools, fostered a partnership that resulted in the launch of 43 youth-led and community-benefitting ventures, and developed skills to support educators through training by the National School Reform Faculty. I look forward to transferring my skills in sustainability to support the K-12 education experience.
